Fees

Your initial 30 minutes consultation is free.  Your general therapy session fees are; £52.00 for the first and subsequent sessions.  Each session will last approximately fifty minutes.  Payment is due in full prior to each session. Online payment or bank transfer are my accepted forms of payment.  

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you.  Please arrive promptly to obtain your full session.  If you must cancel or reschedule, we require 48 hours’ notice, this enables us to give someone on the waiting list an appointment. (Unless you have contacted me (Annette) 48 hours prior to your appointment, you will be required to pay 50% of the scheduled fee.)  If you must cancel or reschedule at short notice due to an emergency, please notify me (Annette) as early as possible on the telephone number or email address found at the end of this document.

Privacy & Confidentiality

All therapy sessions are confidential. We will not release any information to anyone without written authorization from you, except as required by law and the health and safety executive or Children’s Acts. It may be necessary for us to contact your medical specialist in order to provide you with safe effective therapy. It may also be necessary for my own professional supervision and continuous development. 

Computerised records are stored in conformance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including audio or video information which is used fairly, lawfully and transparently. Your data is encrypted in secure cloud-based storage for 6 years for legal reasons after this date your data will be securely deleted. It is your right to see your stored personal information. On top of this, there is also add-on password protected security for all Information Systems applications. You have the right to object; and the right to erasure and rectification.

I do not keep notes relating to our sessions other than the appointment we book and this document (Therapy Consent and Participation Agreement) on file. If you feel you would like me to keep notes, or if you have been referred by an agency that requires update reports, then let me know and I will gladly keep notes. 

Supervision & Confidentiality

I monitor my own practice by attending regular supervision for myself as a commitment to my own self-development. There are times where aspects of our sessions will be taken to supervision to monitor my practice; at no time will your name or any identifiable information be mentioned and my supervisor is also committed to our Participation agreement  confidentiality. Your sessions may be recorded, (audio recording), for the purpose of self-evaluation and supervision, this recording will be destroyed following self-evaluation and supervision. You the client will always be consulted before a recording is made and you have the right to refuse that the session be recorded.

If you have an ongoing medical illness, mental disability or mental illness, please consult a professional medical practitioner e.g., a medical doctor, psychiatrist or psychologist qualified and registered by the appropriate body. I do not represent my service as any form of healthcare and, by law I may make no health benefit claims for my service.  

Appeal Procedure

I offer my services in accordance with the Code of Ethics and Standards prescribed by The National hypnotherapy Society. If you should have a complaint which I have not resolved to your satisfaction, please feel free to contact  The National hypnotherapy Society.  It is your right to refuse any aspect of my service and to seek the service of another therapist at any time.


Client Consent and Release

By coming to Therapy you confirm that you are over 18 years of age and have carefully considered your participation in therapy sessions carried out by Talk to Annette, release and discharge Talk to Annette, and Annette Castro-Griffiths from all claims of damages, arising from your participation.
